Maple Drive by Storkboy Choons and Colours Move is now available for download. The album came free with issue 4 of Analogue. I know I’m sort of biased because Analogue released it but I do think that it’s some of the strongest Irish electronica produced this year. Have a listen and decide for yourself… Leave a comment letting us know what you think.

Analogue launch party at Stereotonic

Analogue has teamed up with the nice people over at Bodytonic to put on a party to celebrate the launch of the magazine nationwide. Tunes on the night will be supplied by Haido, Aero vs. Moro and Storkboy Choons and Colours Move.

Aero vs Moro
Aero vs Moro are DJs who play an eclectic mix of danceable indie, electro, and techno. In the past 2 years they played many nights in town, including Pandamonium, Trashed and Family. Everything they mix is playful and, most importantly, fun. Think Modeselektor, Gui Boratto, Cut Copy and a little bit of The Buggles. Anything goes.

Storkboy Choons and Colours Move

Storkboy Choons and Colours Move are collaborative electronic producers from Kells. Their music draws inspiration from classic early ‘90s dance, ambient music and modern pop-infused European techno. Their music is inspired by childhood, and its pumping 4/4 heart is overlaid with nostalgiac synths, snippets of vocals and yearning melody. They recently released their ten track debut album, Maple Drive.

So come along, have a few drinks, listen to some great music and help us celebrate the creation of this fine publication.
